Njeri Cerere
Njeri Cerere is an Urban and Regional Planner based in Nairobi, Kenya. She is Partner, Africa Region at Citilinks Group which is a global and independent firm dedicated to urbanism, transport, mobility, architecture and research. The firm defines and designs cities, communities and buildings as healthy ecosystems and uses multidisciplinary communication between stakeholders, experts and designers to build better cities and better environments for tomorrow. She is also an Executive Director and co-convenour of the Naipolitans Forum. The organization is comprised of urban enthusiasts, residents and professionals trying to figure out how, when, where, and what can be done to actualize livable urban spaces. In addition to converging actionable experiences and ideas, the Naipolitans platform provides that neutral space necessary to host conversations about urban-shaping initiatives taking place across Nairobi and around the world. |
Nicholas You
Nicholas You is a veteran urban specialist and thought leader. He served as the senior policy advisor to UN-Habitat and the manager of the Habitat II Conference (Istanbul 1996). He is the founder and honorary chairman of the UN-Habitat World Urban Campaign Steering Committee, immediate former chairman of the Assurance Group for Urban Infrastructure of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, immediate former co-President of the Global Cities Business Alliance, and is currently the Chair of the Urban Strategy and Innovation Council for ENGIE. He is a board member of Citiscope, the Huairou Commission, the Joslyn Institute for Sustainable Communities, the Guangzhou Institute for Urban Innovation, and an adjunct to the Centre for Liveable Cities, Singapore. He regularly advises central and local governments, technology companies and civil society organisations on urban sustainability. |
